Thus far, this blog's primary purpose has been to document our adventures and misadventures since becoming husband and wife on May 4th, 2013. In following with that theme we are very excited to announce our greatest adventure yet, parenthood. God willing, Little Nugget Castaneda will make our family of two become three around April 25th, 2015.

Little Nugget shares a due date with Al Pacino, Tim Duncan, and Ella Fitzgerald (destined for greatness?). We say due date because babies are typically born -2 weeks up to +2 weeks from their due date so it won't necessarily share a birth date with those fabulous people but we'll see!
It looks like we'll be having a Taurus which is pretty awesome considering the fact that we are spending the majority of the first trimester and a large portion of the second trimester in Spain (Taurus...toro..get it?). We have a lovely German doctor here in Madrid that we found prior to arriving.
According to the Chinese Gender Predictions (which claim to be over 90% accurate, keyword: claim) we'll be having a boy based on age at conception and month of conception. However, we'll be elated to have a girl or a boy as long as our little one is healthy. :)
Little Nugget will be welcomed by an older fur-brother and fur-sister as well.
