Saul and I are currently sitting on our couch in our new home in wait for it.....LBC. Long Beach. We've been back in California for exactly four weeks to the day and are now sitting on our very own couch in our very own home with our two fur children.
Anyways, we left NY in mid-January and in retrospect it really did feel like vacation. We even went to the Museum of Natural History and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We tried to prepare for all the to-dos while still in NY but nothing could have prepared us enough for all that we had/still have to do. After saying goodbye to my fam bam, Fibi and Luna, and the snow (which is actually quite beautiful) we headed back to CA and hit the ground running. We found a home, secured modes of transportation, bought a Eastern King bed (say whatttt?! We've always had a full), met my new ob/gyn, toured two different hospitals, and are now in the process of furnishing our place. Busy, busy, busy. It's been so hectic but also so worth it. We're so excited to be in our new house before our daughter gets here in 10 weeks!! It also makes things pretty stressful considering all that still needs to be done with our house and with little nugget's nursery. We'll update again as soon as we get a moment to breathe but just wanted to let everyone know that we haven't fallen off the face of the earth.
